Kilimanjaro presentation at Tuesday’s Colorado Mountain Club of Weld County meeting

The Colorado Mountain Club is hosting a presentation by Dave Christiansen, who climbed Kilimanjaro in 2004 and plans to climb it in June 2008.

The meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Farr Library, 1939 61st Ave., Greeley.
Christiansen will share pictures and stories of his climb along with photos of his safari into the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. He will also answer questions and talk with those interested in joining the 2008 trip.

The meeting is also a way to promote the Weld County chapter of the Colorado Mountain Club, which is open to the public and anyone interested in going on group hikes, learning more about mountains or the environment or meeting new friends. For more information, go to www.cmc.org.
